I don't believe I have seen anyone quite so thrilled at shopping. Massive abreviations. Couldn't even complete a cognizant posting before rushing out.
"Adventure guide"?
Sad, sad commentary if that's where we are. You as our virtual Lowell Thomas with a smattering of Marlin Perkins.
Help Mr Wizard.

I think it's the adrenaline rush called "freedom" where pedal hits the metal. Maybe stemming from a temporary liberation from the thrift shop duties.
He definitely sounded excited.
But here's the catch.
When he returns to blogging, he'll probably comiserate on the weather, nasty driving conditions, the crowds, the hype and commercialization of the season... yada, yada, yada.
Bah humbug blog coming up soon.
Remember too, he's traveling with the Mrs. and Katie, the dog.
Should be interesting.
That's why he's called an "adventure guide".
Really.
No, really.
Would someone please go to Whitman's while he's gone so they don't suffer a drastic reduction in business? Wouldn't want a blog subject to dry up and fade away.
Why do I have this sneaking suspicion that business at Whitman's will receive quite a boost once UpNorth returns up north?
Road trips such as these can be quite taxing and take an emotional toll. Especially for the Mrs. and Katie, the Dog.
There will be more cryptic tales in the weeks to come.
I'm going to need that Captain Morgan or Bailey's Irish Cream just to decipher it.
Wow, that Katie the dog must be a real boozehound if the business at Whitmans takes such a dive when she is out of town.
You can smack me around, you can smack my wife around... but you mess with Katie dog and she'll take your arm off!
Tsk, tsk...E-A-S-Y there fella.
